Our Radio show will only be airing once a week on Fridays at 630 PM EST. Please bare with me as I have had changes in my work schedule and life. I promise to bring on great shows as we have in the past, might not have a co host, since Jessica is moving on with her life and has other plans. But I will be there along with my guests. Jason Robert Ballard: Self Made Man

Jason is best known as the founder and CEO of a TransMasculine company called The Self Made Men. Almost 5 years ago now, Jason was in college for graphic arts and illustration in Rochester, NY when they got an assignment to create a logo and brand identity for a clothing company. He chose to make clothes designed for Transmen through a company called The Self Made Men (obviously). In the future, Jason and The Self Made Men push to become a house hold name for the Transgender community. He's been quoted saying "If guys can ignore tampon commercials, and women can delete emails about natural male enhancement. Cisgender people can handle Transgender culture in the mainstream media. And they will." (Right before designing a billboard for TSMM for downtown Rochester, NY)

Faith in the Trans Community

As humans we battle with our inner demons and programming that have been placed there since childhood. Religion has created separation from not only the ones we love due to being true to ourselves, but has created turmoil within our own inner being.

This Tuesday 1/22/12 we have a transgender female who was raised as an Evangelical Christian and battled many years to accept who she truly was and still hold on to her faith. Don't miss this Sunday January 6th live on Transition Radio TV, Louis Ramos who is one of the producers behind the T world generation documentary, he will be talking about the documentary and his own personal experience with transgender individuals from around the globe. He quotes I am a man who holds high expectations for himself. I am a big believer in making a mark in this world. We all hold the key to our own destiny. So make it count, show your own legacy.

 

Louis Ramos is a Twenty eight year old Director and producer who attended Full Sail University in Orlando FL. Currently working on T-World Generation the Film a documentary that follows the lives of transgender men and women. The film is inspired by real coming out stories.  Louis grew up in CA where he attended school. Once graduated from HS, he decided to join the military where he served in the Navy as a Personnel Specialist. In the military he learned the importance of diversity and differences in people. Once he decided to leave the military and follow his dreams as a film director he focused on putting together his passion and creativity into a project that would make a difference for others. Louis teamed up with Omar Montes who soon became his business partner opening up T-World Generation LLC.  We are currently working on the development of the film and have been working with amazing people in the process.

Ryan Cassata Live on Transition Radio TV
