I'm an out and proud Swedish born Thai transwoman currently residing in Bournemouth, UK. My nickname is Yui and my surname is Karlberg. Put those together and you've got my stage name. 

Originally, I was an ambient folk solo artist resembling Anthony & The Johnsons but I play fingerpicking guitar. 

Then I started using a loop pedal...which basically records something and loops it..as well as playing electric guitar instead of acoustic, beat boxing as well as adding some synth in there too.

I sing in both head voice/falsetto and chest voice/baritone.

Sometime last year, I became an electro pop artist but I still play the ambient folk songs that I originally wrote and as it's good for business, I have written songs that would suit any event or venue eg. Rock, jazz...you name it but with electro pop being my main focus.

Live on Transition Radio with Kenna Henderson Nov 19th at 630 PM EST

Kenna Henderson is a writer whose personal story,  Kenna / A Transgender Life, was published in 2012.

Since then, she has written a followup, I'm Not The Man I Used To Be, along with three other books of humor fiction under the author name "Clay Reston".  She also writes and edits books for others.

Being acutely aware of her gender self-identity as early as age six, she found herself with nowhere to turn for information or advice.  It was the 1940s, and she somehow quickly learned that her sense of being "different" had to be kept secret.

After five decades of internal struggle, trying to understand and fight the feelings, she gained access to the internet and was able to learn more about what she was dealing with.  Consultation with medical professionals convinced her that there was nothing "wrong" about the way she felt.  But another ten years would pass before there was total self-acceptance and, finally, determination to live her life as she knew she needed to.

On her own, Kenna decided to work in female mode to seek validation of the person she felt she was. A journal of that experience, as documented in her long-running blog called "Another Self", is included in her first book.

Kenna Henderson also has about 130 songs to her credit, including some that directly address the transgender experience.

She sees her role now as being a source of support and inspiration for others who walk the same path, and to that end she is actively engaged as co-organizer of a local LGBT group.

Kenna is very happily married and lives in Florida. where she has assisted with the rescue of Great Danes and other animals for the last twenty years.

Reese Ramirez: Mr. Tranz is Shining his Rainbow Light for our Community live Tuesday November 12th at 630 PM EST

Reese Ramirez was born in Fresno on June 8th 1979, he quotes I am 34 years old. I was raised in a military family, based up and down the California coast up until age 13 when we moved back to my home town of Fresno, Cali. 

At 17 I went into Sacramento Job Corps and took Security/Investigations, 16 years later, I am still a licensed Security Officer...haveing worked with several companies over the years and in various states.

At the age of 15 came out as gay, my parents just said "We could have told you that when you were 6." I asked why they didn't tell me and they said "We didn't want to make you feel like you had to be something you're not." At the age of 26, after enduring 3 back surgeries, called my mom while living down in LA, told her I was trans and I was going to transition. My mom simply said "Ok, I still love you and just research it all before you start, because that is a life long commitment." I started THRT at 31 and have been medically transitioning for 3.2 years, best thing I've ever done for myself.

I've lived in MI, TN, CA, FL and most recently OR and back to Fresno after 17 years of being gone.

On Feb. 16th of this year, I competed in the first Mr./Ms. Tranz Pageant put on by the Imperial Dove Court de Fresno/Madera. I won the title of Mr. Tranz. I speak on panels at colleges, rode in Fresno's pride parade, San Diego's pride and try to help unify all the communities come together, break down barriers.

Recently, Sept. 25th, held my first fundraiser for Fresno Survivor's of Suicide Loss and raised 200 dollars via a drag show show casing talent from all over the central valley.

Currently planning my step down in February and looking for candidates to take my place and go forth with it. As well as candidates for the Ms. Tranz title.
