My wife and I run a recovery center for guys having top surgery here in south Florida. The inspiration for New Beginnings Retreat came just a few days after I had my surgery with Dr. Garramone. We were listening to the stories of the people were having difficulty navigating the transportation, hotels and general circumstances surrounding the journey for their top surgery pre, surgical and post op trips.
This was compounded significantly for travelers from out of the U.S. So the plan was put into a business plan and we sat down and spoke to Dr. Garramone and both he and his staff encouraged us whole heartedly and even agreed to recommend us as their number one choice for stay.
I do want to make clear that we are not directly linked with Dr. Garramone's office in the business sense. We are two completely separate businesses but we do provide service only to his patients.
I also feel that having 25 years of nursing experience provides a lot of comfort to parents of young patients, especially those traveling from abroad or by themselves. We make it possible for patients of Dr, Garramone to venture on this journey even if they are doing it as a single individual..
